How humbling. I, too, am just realizing how ...wow. How humbling. I, too, am just realizing how self-absorbed I was as a kid (and young adult, until about a year ago!!!), and how petty were all the little grievances I had against my folks. I'd think, "Yeah, right!" But I knew better than to say anything. Yes, we spent lots of time together, but I was doing chores for her, from my point of view.<br /><br />Now I do see all she did for me and all her sacrifices. Perspective is everything. I remember how you anticipated my answer, and how intent you were on answering back. It became a game--the game that you wanted all along. And I was glad to play. What I think is fun, too, is that I saved the evidence :-)<br /><br />In the busyness of life, and the struggles with time and lack of, there are those fond memories still being made.
